How Avik stays free

Ads pay, you don't

Every page carries three static ad slots and one small always-on muted video unit. Those cover the baseline. On the Avik+ model tiers, a 15-second skippable ad plays every few messages - that ad is what pays for the model you just used, at roughly twice what the reply cost.

Mistral models are ad-free

Mistral's models are cheap enough per reply that the always-on slots already cover them, so they never trigger the gate ad. The ad slots stay exactly where they are - you just never get interrupted.

Per-reply cap

Every response has a hard output ceiling so a single reply can never cost more than half of what an ad brings in. If a response reaches that ceiling it stops and says so, rather than quietly running up a bill.

Avik+

Avik+ removes the 15-second gate ad across every model. The static slots and the always-on video unit remain for everyone - Avik+ buys back your time, not the whole ad experience.

One provider per chat

A conversation stays inside one provider family. You can switch between that provider's models mid-chat; to use a different provider, start a new chat.
